Biosketch for Kenneth Okoroji (BS)
Kenneth Okoroji worked at Henry Schein Inc., a Fortune 500 company, from 1988 to 2006. He started his carrier with the company in Nassau County New York, as a Material Handler. One year later, he worked his way to Inventory Control. He was then given a special assignment to Oversee an Off-Site Inventory Storage Location at Bethpage, New York . Kenneth was responsible for Fifteen Million Dollars Inventory, with an accuracy rate of 99.9%.
In 1998, the Company opened a 600,000 square feet North East distribution Center In Denver Pennsylvania. Kenneth was offered the opportunity to relocate to Pennsylvania. He was assigned to head a project that ensured 120,000 Stock Keeping Units (SKU’s) were properly slotted into their appropriate Unit, Case and bulk locations respectively. This project was carried out successfully and timely to start fulfilling Customers’ orders.
With his position as Inventory Control/Slotting Lead, Kenneth became lesion between the Upper Management In Corporate Office and the distribution Center. Kenneth was responsible for generating reports such as: monthly cycle count, Quarantined, Lot number/expiration date, Drug room, non-saleable (NSP) to the upper management. He also worked directly with purchasing department to make sure that Vendors supplied the correct products.
While at Henry Schein Inc., Kenneth worked with the IT group to make such applications as; Warehouse Management system (WMS), Warehouse Control system (WCS) and Radio Frequency (RF) more user friendly.
In 2006, Kenneth resigned from Henry Schein and started his own retail business. At Fashion and Scrubs, Kenneth was responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Store (2006-2011) . Purchasing, display, advertisement, sales and customer returns were handled by Kenneth.
Currently, Kenneth is a part owner and Business manager at Maurice & Lambert Training Center, LLC. His primary responsibilities include; recruitment of prospective students, making sure that the school is in compliance with all Pennsylvania State Department of Education rules and regulations, advertising and bookkeeping.
